I worked in conjunction with justlucky to develop a site in ExpressionEngine for Shippert Photography. The site is built on HTML5, and utilizes Modernizr, the HTML5 Boilerplate, Blueprint CSS, jQuery, and Cufon.

OEM Parts 123 Ecommerce
Spearia was hired to create three custom storefronts for Don Wood Automotive. I integrated matching templates for each site into the TradeMotion auto parts ecommerce system, increasing functionality and ease of use.

LongMarmero.com Redesign
I was brought in to integrate the site into WordPress, as well as convert the flash header navigation into much friendlier HTML. I used jQuery to simulate the effects in the Flash file, while also adding base64 embedded custom fonts to rid the site of image-based headlines.

EdsStory.com Landing Page
Kairos Productions came to Spearia for a simple landing page to promote a new video series about pastor Ed Dobson. I wrote a Vimeo channel player that integrates with the Longtail video plugin, allowing the client to use Vimeo for video management. CushyCMS was tied into the site to allow the client to handle all other content effortlessly.

I offered my services to Achievement Hunter when I came across this guide while playing Shadow Complex. I wanted to help increase usability on the page, so I integrated filterable YouTube video hints that open in modal windows.

Spearia built this site for the Ella Bullis Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps families with premature babies financially and emotionally. We developed an easy-to-use PCI-compliant micro-donation system and integrated a custom CMS into the CodeIgniter framework.

Berger Chevy wanted an online ecommerce solution to help move three-million dollars’ worth of inventory, and Spearia responded by designing a template for use in the TradeMotion automotive parts ecommerce system.

Spearia’s first project with Don Wood Automotive, this redesign turned out to be a huge success. The client was using a third party powersports ecommerce system called PSN to sell their inventory online. We designed a forward thinking site that was far more usable and SEO friendly than any of the default templates, bringing the client to the first page of Google search results for ‘polaris parts.’

Berger Chevy, one of America’s largest Chevrolet dealers, tapped Spearia to redesign their site. We put emphasis on simplicity and clarity, with the end goal of having the user find the information they need with little to no frustration.

After building several powersports websites in the PSN ecommerce system, Spearia decided to offer its ‘Parts Finder’ plugin to other dealers. I creating the brand identity and landing page for the PartsFinderPlus plugin.

Spearia was approached to built a better real estate search site. Whatapad was the resulting proof of concept — a Ruby on Rails site that integrates AJAX property filtering, easy-to-use options, and radius search. While merely a rough sketch of a site, Whatapad.com hints at being a service with great potential.
